Entering a New Season, Blogging. Titus 2:3-5

Why is answering the question, "What are you interests?", so challenging in this season? Could it be because I am wrapping up on my 3rd month of being a stay at home mom? Or maybe it's because I just finished my daughters first year of homeschooling. It could be the 11 month baby boy old I have, the newly found faith I've claimed, the marriage I'm tending too, the home I'm trying to keep in function, or the 10,000 other things I'm pouring into. All I know is I can't answer "what are your interests", without mentioning Christ, my husband, my children, homeschool, building a loving home, creating a healthy lifestyle for our family, ect. Not one of my answers revolves around just me, my soul interests.

Instead of getting continually frustrated at that "lack of answer" I'm going to try to find the good in it. With that a scripture that sticks out to me heavily is Titus 2:3-5, "In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not slaves to excessive drinking. They are to teach what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands and to love their children, to be self-controlled, pure, workers at home, kind, and in submission to their husbands, so that God’s word will not be slandered". Gods word shows us that as women we should be doing a whole lot of living for others. Contrary to present female worldly roles that would have me working full time probably content creating on TikTok and YouTube to build a brand for myself, sending my children to be raised by a stranger, doing the bare necessities in the evening to keep my house non hazardous and everyone fed, and lacking genuine connection with my spouse/family/friends. I say no. Fulfilling Titus 2:3-5 IS ENOUGH FOR ME. And you can change your way mindset and belief into making it enough for you too!
